Facebook groups filled with posts on January 2 about the sudden closing of Jockey Hollow Bar & Grill Restaurant. News of the abrupt closing saddened many but than that sadness turned to anger. So many people had given or received gift cards just days before for the holidays that were now useless.
Hopefully, if you were among those with gift cards, you saved them. Que the local hero. In steps Town Bar and Kitchen, just .4 miles down the road at 80 Elm Street in Morristown. From now until March 1, 2025, bring in your $50 JHB&GR gift certificate and Town Bar and Kitchen will apply the $50 toward any check of $100 or more. Talk about awesome and doing good in our community. We shouldn't be surprised. Check out their menu and you will see the definition of community. Their dessert menu includes a partnership with local creamery Beenie's!
